Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Flight Operations Specialist located in Naples, FL. The Flight Operations Specialist will be responsible for domestic and international flight scheduling, overseeing flight operations, coordinating with aircraft crews and maintenance personnel, ensuring flight safety, and managing day-to-day flight operations. Work schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- 2 years Flight Planning and Flight Scheduling/Dispatching for a Part 135 charter organization, especially International Planning (overflight and landing permits in various countries in the Caribbean, Central and South Americas, Europe, and beyond)
- Knowledge of Aircraft and Performance Characteristics
- Experience in Flight Safety
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aerospace, or related field preferred, FAA Aircraft Dispatcher's license welcome but not required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation
