We’re taking it to the green! Nothing says Florida more than sunshine and golf, and again this year the 48th Honda Classic will be hosted in Palm Beach County. The Honda Classic brings together some of the world’s best PGA Tour players golf has seen.
This 72 stroke play is a week of entertainment for visitors and players the like. With the winners share coming in at $1,260,000, golfers will be put to the test. The event is held at the PGA National Resort and Spa Champion Course with a par 70. Last year defending champion Keith Mitchell took home the prize after taking down golf stars Ricki Fowler and Brooks Koepka, coming in at under 9 par. This year Sungjae Im came in at number one, taking home the prize.
However, this event is much larger than just the golf community and its enthusiasts. Each year over 1,500 volunteers help make this event successful across a number of different positions. The Honda Classic also supports the Children’s Healthcare Charity, donating proceeds to the Nicklaus Children’s Healthcare Foundation.
There are a number of different ticket options for those that want to enjoy this event ranging from day passes to party packs. Can you think of a better way to enjoy a weekend in the sun? We can’t.
